Introduction

The Protein Research Foundation (PRF) was founded 23 years ago and during that time we have experienced many highs and lows, but 2012/2013 will be remembered by Board members, staff and contractors alike, as the year we hosted the 9th World Soybean Research Conference (WSRC IX 2013).

With that conference behind us, the remainder of the year reverted to the normal highs and lows, but it included many challenges as well as the satisfaction of successful achievements. As in the past, this report describes the various PRF activities and presents the most important achievements resulting from PRF funding.
